The project involved a $40 million renovation of a beach resort and conference center over a 2-year period. Construction included a new FF&E and interior design for 400 guestrooms, suites, and corridors and a wing of 200 rooms was carved out for 120 new timeshare units and sale center. Work also included the replacement of all new main cooling towers and chillers, a new main pump room with water heaters, and the installation of all new guestroom fan coil units. Exterior concrete repairs and painting for the whole property was completed and new roofs and new balcony waterproofing were installed.
